SWEERS TURNS 21!

Sweers Island Resort is 21 years old! If you ever needed an excuse to visit - this is the year! The official date is May 5th but we started celebrating early and can probably be persuaded to celebrate at various times throughout the year!

Annual regulars for the May Day Weekend, the Larry Wilson crew from Mount Isa, helped us celebrate in style, even if it was a couple of days early. Group member Mark, was also celebrating his 21st birthday - again! Click on the thumbnails below for a bigger image...

Lyn & Lee made a special cake (if you ask nicely they might give you the recipe! Honey Coffee Cake with Fudge Icing...yum...)       We got out the Party Dishes for the pre-dinner nibblies, had the perfect 21st birthday dinner of Fish & Chips, followed by cake for dessert, lit with 21 candles and some sparklers...

Everyone sang Happy Birthday, there was a musical card signed by everyone, and a special birthday present from Mick & Lee - an engraved laser-cut Turtle by Unique Steel in Cairns.And we didn't forget the Birthday Boy - Mark got a candle in his slice of cake!
