FISH FILLETS WITH TERIYAKI BASTE

 

This is a striking looking dish when presented well, and is very quick and easy to prepare.

 You Need: 

 1 Kg White Fish Fillets

2 cloves Garlic (or 2 tsp from the jar)

2 tsp grated fresh Ginger (or 2 tsp from the jar)

½ tsp Chinese 5-spice powder

1 Tblsp Oil

Bottled Teriyaki sauce

 

Method:

Trim and wash the fillets, removing the bones.

Mix together the garlic, ginger, 5-spice powder and the oil.

Rub this mixture into the fish, cover and marinate for about ½ hour.

Grill or BBQ the  fish, basting regularly with the sauce.

Serve with a Mesculin salad or with steamed rice and garnished nicely with lemon and chilli carved ‘flowers’.
