BATTLE FAMILY VISIT

Sweers attracts not just seasoned salty fishos, but also families with young kids and groups of young people - during the school holidays we had a visit from Tex's son Sean and his 3 children Joel 14, Caitlin 12 and Taneesha 8. Lots of fun was had by all.

The kids had lots of fun fishing off the beach, catching bream which they threw back, but also catching some nice sized Sweetlip and Grunter. Check out Taneesha's cute pink rod, which she knew how to use, age 8, also Caitlin's nice red one, and Joel also had his own rod, a slick black one.

Later on, Dad took them out in the boat where he got a chance to show them how to catch the big reefies!

Plus, there was lots of fun helping in the kitchen with Granny Lyn and Grandad Tex!

And plenty of R&R with the dogs Charlie & Lilly...
