HORTONS GROUP BACK AGAIN

Also visiting in July - the Hortons, another regular group, and they also had a great time once again, with a varied catch including some catch and release (good stuff!) of the big cod. These fish are the breeders, often 30+ years old, with little meat compared to body size, so it is always nice to see them go back in the water.

That's Phil Horton with a big cod which he released and his mate with a lovely Spanish Mackerel which he kept to eat...

(Now you know what Santa does the rest of the year...goes fishing!)
