Apologies from Lyn for not getting any photos posted since Easter - the computer had a heart attack and is on life support (files can be accessed) but can't speak to anyone (only works in Safe Mode, no printing, no internet).

oops!                                     The new Yellow Dell!

But now Lyn has a brand new Dell laptop - it's bright yellow! (Tex wouldn't let her get a pink one!) with all the latest gizmos, so here now is a selection of photos from the past month -

Well, we had a couple of local groups from Mount Isa and Normanton and even Charters Towers...they all got the season off to a good start...

Sean Battle with his Mount Isa mates and a nice catch of fish...                 The King of the Gulf! Stu Wyllie with a Big Mack...

That's the Mount Isa guys (Tex's son Sean in the blue!) with a nice mix of fish - Scarlet Sea Perch, Queenfish, Coral Trout, Red Emperor and Parrotfish (Tuskfish = great eating!)...............while on the right, team member Stu, caught the first big Spanish Mackerel of the season, and is now referring to himself as the "King Of The Gulf" - well done, Stu!

The blokes from Charters Towers also did well, here they are with another nice Spanish Mackerel - not quite as big as Stu's!

The Charters Towers guys with a nice Spaniard...

Not quite locals, but certainly regular visitors - the Wellings group from Whitecliffs and further south, made the most of their time with some fine early mackerel, Barra off the beach and a mix of reef fish. We haven't got any photos but they might email some of theirs through...???

Some more regular southern visitors were the George family from South Australia. Mick and Krysia have been several times before - this time they brought their son Tomas, and all three of them caught some fine fish - here's a selection of photos of their catches (some of which were released) -

Krysia with a pretty Diamond Trevally.           This baby Queenie went back to its mum!          Beautiful sunsets, and Tomas has a barra on his line!

That's Krysia with a little Diamond Trevally, and a baby Queenfish, while Tomas and Mick fish try for a barra off the beach...

"Mine's bigger than yours, son!"          Mick George with a fine Tuna.          "Mine's bigger, this time, Dad!"

Father and Son had some fun catching Queenies, while Mick hooked a magnificent Tuna, and both caught lots of Jewfish.

Tomas with a lovely Red Emperor                            Tomas with another fine Jewfish.

Tomas also got a lovely Red Emperor...                           as well as the Jew...

Meanwhile, our own 'locals' weren't doing too bad...Mick & his dad Ray were busy catching some lovely Barramundi and Jewfish..

Mick with a fine Barramundi.                      Mick's Dad Ray with a nice Perch and Jew.

That's Mick on the left with his Barra, while Ray on the right holds up a nice Perch and Jewfish...
