SAD NEWS

Regular guests to Sweers will be saddened to hear of the sudden death of Ella dog while Tex & Lyn were off the island on holiday. She died overnight from an unidentified illness, before she could be flown out to a vet.

Some guests will have memories of her trick of sneaking up behind them in the dark and going "Woof!" - scaring the living daylights out of them, and we had just about managed to teach her that this was "unacceptable behaviour" -

Most will remember her for her friendly nature, her enthusiasm for Life, and her favourite "Trick or Treat" cheese on the nose trick.

Ella loved riding on the 4-wheeler motorbikes Ella loved performing 'Trick or Treat' for the guests... And she loved her squeaky toys...

She always did her daily chores... And she loved going out in the boats... Her favourite job was helping with the barge...

$This was her first ever ride on the bike.$
