They've been a bit slow to start this year, but the Spanish Mackerel have been steadily increasing in size and here is our Mick at the top of the leaderboard now, with the 13.5kg Spaniard he caught....no, sorry, he won't let me say exactly where he caught it! The Hastings Deering guys are due this Queen's Birthday weekend, with local ABC radio Fish Whisperer Alan Gurney also in the area, so the chase will be on! Watch this space...

Mick with a monster 13.5kg Spanish Mackerel...

Well, the Hastings guys did ok, but they didn't beat Mick's Mackerel - we're just waiting for some photos to be emailed to us and you will see what was caught over the weekend...try to remember to bring your camera/computer USB leads so that we can post the pix fresh while you are here, almost as fresh as the fish!

Here are a couple of photos from the Georgetown crew, who caught a nice mixed bag of fish:

Anthony and Shereen with a couple of nice Coral Trout.     Shereen Bunch with a couple of nice fish...

Anthony McMillen and Shereen Bunch with a couple of nice Coral Trout, and Shereen with a Scarlet Sea Perch as well...

Glen with a HUGE Barracuda!

Glen Bambling from Georgetown with a HUGE 23kg Barracuda!

And here are some photos from Shereen, of the magnificent sunrise - not something we all get to see everyday!
