Charter MV Salomon

MV Salomon is our 6m aluminium catamaran charter boat, custom built for light game and sports fishing for the resort by NQ Borger Cats in Ingham, North Queensland. With outriggers, large casting decks, rod holders, large cutting boards, icebox, shade and a host of details to make your charter more comfortable, 'Salomon' is in Survey for 6 passengers plus crew and is skippered by one of our qualified Coxwains. It is not available for private hire for guests to drive themselves.

This vessel is not included in the daily tariff (which includes self drive dinghy). It can be chartered for half or full day's fishing around Sweers or extended areas. Contact us for current rates. Salomon is powered by a 130hp Yamaha Saltwater Series outboard motor. It is fitted with a depthsounder and GPS Navigation system. It fully complies with Marine Safe Queensland survey requirements and carries a full complement of safety equipment.
The vessel has been designed to cater for reef or rod fishers. There is a spacious casting platform at the front, and another at the rear of the vessel. There are plenty of rod holders and your lines can also be clipped to the outriggers.
There is plenty of space around the centre console for working your rods, and plenty of seating area for those who wish to fish with handlines. Some rods are provided but you are encouraged to bring your own. There are plenty of rod-holders. The vessel is fully equipped with handlines and spare trace/leaders to minimise delays in re-rigging.

MV Salomon is also ideal for the non-fisher family, with shade for mum to read a book, a fishing platform for dad, while the kids can fish or sunbake on the front platform. Whatever you choose to do, the drinks will be kept chilled in the icebox til required...
